How it works.

CoGym combines in-person coaching with individualized programming. Most clients train once per week at the private Durham studio, then complete additional workouts independently. Monthly coaching is also available if you prefer less frequent coached workouts.

Coached workouts.

Coached workouts take place one-on-one at the private Durham studio. Each appointment is both a workout and an opportunity to introduce new exercises, refine technique, and review progress. Meeting with your coach also creates a consistent point of accountability.

Independent workouts.

All independent workouts are delivered through an app. Every workout includes the full exercise sequence, sets, reps, rest periods, and video demonstrations. Your coach can see what you complete and remains available for questions throughout the week.

Automatic tracking.

Completed workouts are logged automatically, and connected health metrics are collected in the same place. Body composition comes from an in-studio scan or smart scale, while steps, sleep, and activity can sync from your wearable. Your coach sees the same information alongside your workout history.

Measuring adherence.

Workouts, cardio, sleep, steps, and other habits are tracked individually and combined into one weekly score. Every Monday, you’ll get a report showing your performance over the previous week. This gives you and your coach an objective way to see how consistent you were with your training and daily habits.

Quarterly assessments.

Your first assessment establishes a baseline using body composition, physical testing, and lifestyle metrics. Every three months, these measurements are repeated and combined into a quarterly score. Each assessment is compared with your baseline and previous assessments to measure how your health and fitness have changed.
