Griffin Connors, CoGym founder and personal trainer in Durham NC

Griffin Connors, Head Coach

B.S. Biochemistry, UNC Chapel Hill ‘16

NASM-certified Personal Trainer

I studied biochemistry before I became a coach, and I approach training the same way I was taught to approach research: establish a baseline, control the environment, and make changes based on measured results.

Everything I prescribe, I test on myself first. Clients train with the same framework, and the methods are always evolving. Every client interaction adds insight that gets refined back into the programming.

For most clients, weekly coaching lasts four to six months. Training then continues independently, with one coaching session per month and programming that keeps adjusting.

Ask a coach what to do next.

Training at CoGym begins with a 20-minute call with Griffin.

Ask questions, talk through your goals, and leave with a clear next step.

If CoGym is the right fit, your first in-person session will include a movement assessment and coached workout.
